William “Bill” Jordan Sr., lovingly known as “Pop Pop,” passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, surrounded by those who loved him most. He was born on December 29, 1965, in Kalamazoo and most recently lived in Portage, Michigan.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Jordan, with whom he shared a bond since 1997. Together they built a family grounded in love, laughter, and resilience. He is also survived by his children Steven (Katelyn) Jordan, Alexis (Sean) Jordan, William Jordan Jr., Erik (Sarah) Jordan, and Derek Jordan; and his beloved grandchildren Elsie Jordan, Aubrie Jordan, and Karter Jordan. Bill is also survived by his brother Richard (Cheryl) Jordan and three other brothers. He was preceded in death by his cherished daughter Jaidelyn Jordan and his loving mother Jacqueline Jordan.

A roofer by trade for decades, Bill took immense pride in his work — back when roofing was done “the hard way.” Outside of work, he found joy in hunting, fishing, kayaking, four-wheeling, modifying his trucks, and most of all, spending time with his family. Bill was known for his strength, humor, and fierce love. He lived a hard life before meeting Sandra, but his warmth and generosity made that history invisible to most. Even through his courageous eight-year battle with cancer, Bill never stopped finding reasons to laugh or make others feel loved. He was a protector, a fighter, and above all, a man whose heart never stopped giving.

Though Bill will be deeply missed, his family and friends find comfort in knowing his love and spirit will live on forever in their hearts. In lieu of a funeral, a GoFundMe has been set up to help support the family during this difficult time https://gofund.me/ecfe09a4d
