Virginia “Ginny” Cramer, 71, of Kalamazoo, entered eternal rest on January 13, 2026, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who loved her. Ginny was born on February 27, 1954, in Lawton, MI, the daughter of the late Virginia and Jeff Warr. She was preceded in death by her brothers, David Warr and Baby Warr.

Though her early years were marked by hardship, she built a life defined by perseverance, love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Ginny understood the beauty of everyday moments. She greeted the morning sun with country music, a little dancing, and a good cup of coffee. She was deeply proud of her family and wanted to be part of it all, from graduations and athletic games to family gatherings and the milestones that mattered most. She celebrated your life right alongside you. Ginny was the kind of person who never stopped showing up and checking in. There was hardly a morning when you didn’t wake up to a message from her.

Ginny reminded us to slow down and savor the simple pleasures, because to her, those were the big things. She loved attending parades, where she got to settle in with a hot cup of cocoa, beam with joy as her granddaughter marched in the color guard, and insisted everyone ride on the firetruck so she could wave at them with a smile. She enjoyed visiting the lakeshore, going fishing, and she was known for bringing macaroni salad to every family function. To many in her family, Ginny was a safe place as she opened her home in times of need. She could be both tender and firm, cheering you on while keeping you grounded. Ginny will be deeply missed and forever loved.

She is survived by her three children, Michael (Lesa) Warr, Teresa Sfeir, Jason Sfeir; sisters, Linda Mochmer-Oryczcak, Sandy (Michael) Warr-Morgan, Cheryl Miles, Lisa Warr; grandchildren, Greg Whiteaker, Jackie (Zach) Alkhamis, Anisa Moore, Tracy Moore Jr., Nicholas Sfeir, Jason Sfeir Jr., Nathan Sfeir, Alexis (Gabe) Warr, Rylee Gates, Cayden Nazarians, Emma Warr, Michael Warr Jr.; great-grandchild, Rylan Whiteaker; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial is being planned for a later date this spring, information will be provided once plans are finalized.
