Tim Allen Martin, born on December 8, 1956, in Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home in Mendon, Michigan, surrounded by his beloved wife, Yvonne, and family on June 17, 2025. His life was characterized by unwavering dedication to his work, family, and community, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him.
Tim was a skilled welder, contributing his talents to industry-leading companies such as Forest River and Grumman. Known as the hardest working man, he approached his career with diligence and passion, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence. However, it was not just in his work that Tim excelled but also in the relationships he built. He shared an extra special connection with several of his in-laws, friends, and relatives, fostering bonds that will be cherished and remembered for years to come.
Beyond his professional life, Tim had a lively spirit that fueled his love for engaging with family and friends. He had a fondness for karaoke and loved dancing with his wife, often tearing up the dance floor. His enjoyment extended to spending quality time with his grandkids and great-grandkids, creating lasting memories and instilling values of kindness and hard work.
Tim is survived by his cherished wife of 43 years, Yvonne Martin; his four children, Craig Martin, Curt Martin, Keith Hammond, and Amy Nichols; and his five grandchildren: Xavier Varga, Gabrielle Varga, Alyssa Hammond, Damion Fritz, and Devon Martin. He was also a proud great- grandfather to five great-grandchildren. His legacy continues through his siblings, Diana (Martin) Miller, Connie (Richard) Thomas, Jerry (Clayton) Lyczynski, and Patty (Richard) Salter, along with his sister-in-law Joanne Martin and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Lydia Martin, and his brother, Randy Martin, along with five brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
The family invites those who knew Tim to join them for a Celebration of Life on July 19, 2025, at his home in Mendon, beginning at 1:00 PM, to honor the memory of a man who dedicated his life to helping others, whether family, friends, or strangers in need. He will be forever remembered for his generosity, warmth, and undying love for his family.
