Thomas John Morrison, age 74, of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home in Portage on January 15, 2026, with his loving wife, Barbara, by his side. Born on March 30, 1951, in Plainwell, Tom grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, simple joys, and the people he loved most.

Tom and Barbara began their life together in 1984, building more than four decades of partnership, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Tom was a wonderful husband—steady, loyal, and endlessly supportive. Their bond was the heart of his world.

A true fisherman at heart, Tom found peace on the water. Whether casting a line at his favorite spots or sharing stories about the “one that got away,” fishing brought him joy throughout his life. He also enjoyed the excitement of a good gamble and was known to take a trip or two to Gun Lake Casino, where he loved the thrill, the lights, and the fun of trying his luck.

Tom will be remembered for his warm spirit, his easygoing nature, and the love he carried for his family. His presence brought comfort, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to those who knew him.
