Terry Duane Lee

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Terry Duane Lee, age 62, who left us peacefully on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo—a place that held deep meaning throughout his life. Born on September 10th, 1962, in Kalamazoo, Terry spent his life rooted in the community he loved.

A proud and dedicated worker, Terry found joy and connection at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. His time there was marked not just by hard work, but by the friendships he formed with colleagues who became like family. Though health challenges eventually drew him away, the pride he took in his work—and the people around him—never faded.

Terry was a beacon of light to those who knew him. His infectious laugh, playful spirit, and gentle heart uplifted everyone he encountered. He had a gift: to make people feel better just by being near.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Catherine Jones, his sister, Cynthia Lee, both of Kalamazoo, and his brother Eugene Ware of Jackson, Tennessee. He also leaves behind his treasured Aunt Lillie (John) Nelms, Uncles Joe (Valerie) Jones and Bobby (Lois) Jones, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Terry’s absence will be deeply felt—but his spirit lives on in the smiles he brought, the kindness he gave, and the love he left behind. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
