Stephen Andrew Rish passed away on July 21, 2025 in Coldwater. He was born on August 7, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan. Stephen spent his formative years in Dearborn, where he laid the foundations of a life that would blend personal passion with professional dedication.

As a local business owner alongside his beloved wife, Mary "Alexia" Rish, Stephen poured his heart into their enterprise for over four decades in both Dearborn and Coldwater. Their business was not merely a means of livelihood but a sanctuary of connection, where clients transformed into family. Stephen was known for his engaging conversations and enjoyed every moment spent helping others and fostering relationships that lasted beyond the confines of business.

Stephen and Alexia shared countless adventures during their younger years. Together, they explored horizons far beyond their hometown, immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of cultures and experiences that the world has to offer. Stephen was a great cook who took pleasure in crafting delicious meals. He loved all genres of music and always had music streaming.

Throughout his life, Stephen's kind and devoted nature shone brightly, particularly within the bond he shared with Alexia. Their marriage, lasting 41 years, was the cornerstone of his existence. He was a loving and loyal husband, and his unwavering focus on her was evident in all they accomplished together. The couple built a robust partnership, where every endeavor was a shared aspiration.

Stephen is survived by his cherished wife, Mary "Alexia" Rish, and he leaves behind a lively pack of six Siberian huskies. Moreover, he is remembered fondly by friends and family whose lives he touched throughout his journey.

He is predeceased by his father, Raymond Rish, and his mother, Kathleen (Murphy) Rish, whose legacies of love and support shaped the man he became. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Rish.
