Sherry Ann Myers, age 71, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, just two days after celebrating her birthday. Born on February 23, 1955, Sherry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

Sherry was a woman whose heart belonged first and foremost to her family. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Lisa Prey; her son, James Myers; her grandchildren, Ashley and Dakota Berghuis (Layla Ecie); her great-grandson, Rory Berghuis; her niece, Angela Henry-Delapaz; and her honorary daughter, Tracy Rogusta-Potter. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she took immense pride in watching her family grow through the generations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Myers.

Known for her spunky spirit and boundless kindness, Sherry had a way of lighting up any room she entered. She adored all things Disney, finding magic in the stories, songs, and characters that brought her joy throughout her life. Simple pleasures meant the most to her — especially Sunday drives with her husband, where conversation, laughter, and quiet companionship created some of her happiest memories.

Sherry’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and a reminder to cherish family and find magic in everyday moments.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
