Sandra Louise Judd

Sandra Louise Judd passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Born on June 2, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, Sandra led a fulfilling life marked by dedication to her career, family, and numerous interests.

Graduating from Southeastern High School, Sandra pursued further education at the University of Michigan, laying the groundwork for her successful professional journey. For 32 remarkable years, she served as a Human Resources Executive for Cadillac Engineering, demonstrating unparalleled commitment and expertise until her retirement in 1989.

Sandra was known not just for her professional accomplishments but also for her vibrant personality. She took immense pride in her appearance, always striving to look polished and put together. Her engaging demeanor and love for life made her a treasured friend and confidante.

Sandra's interests were as diverse as they were deep. She found joy in watching Masterpiece Theater and had a profound appreciation for classical music. An investment enthusiast, she remained adept at keeping track of stock market trends, showcasing her sharp intellect. She also embraced the world of gaming, enjoying Playstation 2, 3, and 4 video games, as well as playing blackjack and Mahjong, often sharing these activities with her loved ones.

Among her proudest accomplishments was winning 1st place in the Detroit News Spelling Bee, a testament to her brilliance and determination. Equally significant was her role as a devoted mother, raising her beautiful daughter, Pamela McClean, with love and care. In addition to her daughter, Sandra is survived by her sister, Lucille Hughes, and many other family members and friends who will forever remember her warmth, zest for life, and the indelible mark she left on their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lannie and Ova Judd, her son-in-law, Wallace McClean, and sisters Ruth Smith and Marilyn Doyle. Sandra's legacy continues through her family and friends, all of whom are grateful for the time shared with her. Her spirit will live on in the cherished memories and stories told in her honor.
