Roland H. Edmisten, affectionately known as Ron, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Newburg Township, Michigan, at the age of 62. Born on May 26, 1963, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, he lived a life of love and creativity.
Ron was a skilled RV Technician at Luxe in Elkhart, Indiana, where he demonstrated not only a remarkable aptitude for his work but also a deep commitment to ensuring each customer received the best service possible. His craftsmanship extended beyond his professional life; he was a tinkerer at heart, capable of fixing almost anything that came his way. In his spare time, Ron found joy in building model cars and dioramas, showcasing his artistic talents and attention to detail. He had a passion for collecting and restoring Schwinn bicycles, a hobby that further reflected his inventive spirit and love for the classics.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Edmisten, with whom he shared a bond since 1990. Together, they built a life filled with memories, laughter, and unwavering support for one another. Ron is also survived by his son, Brent Williams; his beloved grandson, Jameson; and his sister, Carrie Smead.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Hobey and Tenefern Edmisten, and his brother, Hobey Edmisten. Their memories continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration for those who knew Ron and loved him.
A memorial service will be held to honor Ron's life on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Family First Funeral & Cremation Services in Marcellus, Michigan beginning at 11:00am. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate a life well-lived and remember the joyful moments shared with him.
Ron Edmisten will be dearly missed, and his legacy will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
