Three Rivers

Roger Earl Kline, of Three Rivers, passed way on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born in St. Joseph County to Harry and Zelma (Schultz) Kline. Roger grew up in Three Rivers and attended school and graduated with the class of 1964. He was the youngest of eight children. Roger became a journeyman welder and pipefitter and worked many years for Clifton Engineering in Three Rivers. He then worked at Cook Nuclear plant where he retired after 30 years. Roger preferred to spend his time hunting and fishing. He could often be found floating down a creek hoping to find a big fish to catch. What most people knew Roger for, was his jokes. He always felt that if he could make someone laugh he had brightened their day. He is survived by his children, Rachelle Kline of Dowagiac, Ryan (Chris) Kline of Almont, Lynn (Kelly) Kline; his grandchildren, Katrina, Molly, Jenna, Benjamin, and Sadie. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Harry (Dorothy) Kline and Zelma (Buster) Akins; brothers, Arden, Ivan, Don, Rich, and Wayne; and sisters, Barb Shaeffer and Lois Boulette. Per his wishes he will be cremated and there will not be an immediate service.
