Robert E. Wilson Sr.

Robert E. Wilson Sr., a devoted family man and hard worker, passed away on November 26, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born on October 31, 1949, in Fort Wayne, a city that would serve as the backdrop for the many cherished memories he created throughout his life.

Robert's interests included fishing, hunting, and visiting the casino, activities that brought joy and excitement to his days. His passion for these pastimes was only matched by his love for spending time with his family. A figure of strength, Robert was a dedicated provider, working diligently to ensure that his family had everything they needed. His commitment to his loved ones was a hallmark of his character and was evident in all he did.

He is survived by his three children, Robert E. Wilson Jr., Reta R. Wilson, and Theresa A. Wilson, who carry forward his legacy of love and dedication. Robert was also blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy and pride. His siblings, Catherine Roussain and Harry Wilson, remain to honor his memory and the bond they shared.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Crupe Wilson; as well as his parents, Harold and Shirley (Ockaley) Wilson; his brother, Danny Wilson; and sister, Della Crupe Wilson, who have all left indelible marks on his life.

As we remember Robert E. Wilson, we celebrate a life marked by love, hard work, and devotion to family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
