Robert C. KlirRobert C. Klir, 90, of Marcellus, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.Affectionately known as "Bob" by his family and friends, Robert was born on August 4, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to Robert Joseph Klir and Joan Klir.

Bob married the love of his life, Cyrene M. Paluch Klir, and together they shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories. They especially enjoyed spending time camping together at the lake, creating lasting memories with family and friends. Bob dedicated more than 30 years of service to Fine Arts Engraving in Chicago, where he built a respected career before retiring in 1996.

Bob is survived by his sister, Carolyn Avermann; his daughter, Lori Scott; his son, Michael Klir; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Joseph Klir and Joan Klir; his beloved wife, Cyrene M. Klir; his daughter, Robin Ringle; and his two grandchildren, Collin and Ashley.

A private family burial will take place at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Crown Point, Indiana, where Bob will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Cyrene.
