IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Von
Kendall, Jr.
November 9, 1954 – February 1, 2026
Robert "Bobby" Von Kendall, Jr., 71, passed away on February 01, 2026, in Nashville, Michigan. Robert "Bobby" Kendall Jr. was born on November 09, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to parents, Robert Von and Josephine (Bright) Kendall. Bobby worked very dutifully for over 24 years at Ford, doing various jobs in their mechanics department.
He married the love of his life, Linda Kendall, in 1997 and they had many wonderful years of marriage before his passing. Bobby loved being outside in nature, he was an avid hunter of deer, rabbits, and squirrels, as well as being an avid fisherman. He loved working on cars and various small engines. He was a man who enjoyed rock n roll, the music helping him work and get in the groove. He was a huge animal lover but he especially loved dogs and cats, though his soft spot was for rottweilers. He adored his grandkids and loved being grandpa. His biggest goal was to just be the best father and grandfather that he could be. So much so that when his son was younger, he bought his son a snake- but it ended up escaping on the drive home, so he bought him a second one. They were content with the little corn snake until they happened to find the first a week later- so they had two.
Bobby loved puzzles and did them frequently, loving that they kept his mind sharp. Additionally, Bobby was a member of North American Hunt Club. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and Robert Kendall, and his sisters, Sandra Kendall, Lori Evans. He is survived by his spouse, Linda Kendall (Tapp), his children, Heather (Matthew) Walker, Frank Thomas, his grandchildren, RyAnn Goodrich, McCrae Goodrich, Jarrett Walker, his sister, Linda (Roy) Lee, and his nieces and nephews, Shari (Michael) West, Kari Kendall, and Paul Evans.
