Robert Dell Faulkner, 91, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of Monday, August 3rd, 2026, at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.

Born on July 10, 1935, in Billings, Montana, Robert was the son of Liberty and McDonald Faulkner. He married the love of his life, Lavern, in July of 1972, and together they shared a joyful and devoted 50 years of marriage.

During his honorable service in the United States Army, Robert fought in the Korean War, demonstrating courage, resilience, and deep dedication to his country.

Robert was a man of many hobbies and simple joys. He loved reading, feeding the neighborhood ducks with his grandchildren, attending weekend auctions, enjoying quiet evenings with his favorite TV shows, and spending cherished time with his loved ones. His gentle spirit and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his two daughters, Crystal (Jason) Otto and Adrieana (Jordan) Diamond; three stepsons, James (Melanie) Guthrie, Luke (Jennifer) Herring, and Robbie (Brandiwyne) Harting; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Liberty and McDonald Faulkner; his sister, Donna Goodman; and his beloved wife, Lavern Faulkner.
