Richard Evan Farleigh, born on June 29, 1977, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on February 12, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He leaves behind his two beloved children, Seth Farleigh and Haylee Farleigh, who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Valeta Farleigh, and three half-brothers, Tim Kirk, Tom Kirk, and Ted Kirk.

A Celebration of Life for close friends and family will be held in his honor on March 8, 2026, at The Music Factory in Battle Creek, Michigan. The event will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 5:00 PM. There will be a second Celebration of Life that is open to all on March 29, 2026 at The Music Factory in Battle Creek, time will be updated once it is solidified.
