IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul David
Eddy
August 11, 1966 – December 28, 2025
Paul David Eddy, a cherished family member and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on August 11, 1966, Paul was known for his vibrant personality and joyful spirit, which radiated through all his interactions. He had an immense love for life and particularly enjoyed the company of his loved ones.
Paul was an avid fisherman, often seen casting his line with his grandson, Lavon. Their fishing trips were not merely about the catch, but rather about creating lasting memories and nurturing their bond. His passion for fishing was a vital part of his identity, as he embraced every opportunity to be on the water, surrounded by nature and the thrill of the chase.
He is survived by his beloved siblings: Violet Bennett, Katherine Shepherd, Annette Rhodes, Jacqueline Bell, and Becky Thomas. His brothers, Charles Eddy, Robert Eddy, and Peewee, also carry on his memory. In addition, Paul is survived by his children, Duke Sexton, Sandy Eddy, and Shane Eddy, who continue to carry forth his legacy of love and laughter. Paul’s spirit lives on through several nieces, nephews, and cousins, who will remember him fondly.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, Charles Eddy and Iva Bennett, who provided him with a solid foundation of love and support throughout his life. He also mourned the loss of his brother Delmas, and his extended family, including a niece, nephew, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles, who have shaped the man he became.
As we reflect on Paul David Eddy’s life, we remember the joy he brought to those around him and the countless fishing tales he shared. His warm smile, laughter, and jovial nature will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
