Michael Bruce Ewing

Michael Bruce Ewing was born on June 11, 1967, in Plainwell, Michigan, and passed away on May 28, 2025, in Portage, Michigan. He was a jack of all trades, with a primary focus on auto mechanics. Michael was known for his generous spirit; he was loved and adored by his grandchildren and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Michael had a passion for working on cars and enjoyed going on walks. His family consisted of his daughter Leeann Wiseman, sons Jason (Jasmine) Ewing, Zackary Cox, and Michael Bruce Ewing Jr. He also is survived by his brothers Jeff and Jerry, and sisters Mary Lou and Penny. Michael was the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren: Onna, Levi, Bobby, Lucas, Landen, Jaxon, Jayilynn, and Jessica. He also leaves behind the continued support of his children's mother, Kathy Dennany.

He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Allen Ewing Sr. and mother Rae Penny. Michael's impact on his family and friends will be deeply missed.

Michael Ewing’s cremation has been entrusted to Family First Funeral & Cremation Services, where his memory is honored with dignity and care. At this time, no formal services have been scheduled.
