Michael “Mike” Best, born August 4, 1957, passed away on October 21, 2026. Mike was a simple man who found comfort and happiness in the little things in life. He cherished his beloved cat, Maddie, and enjoyed spending quiet moments in his favorite living room chair, watching the wildlife around his pond. These peaceful moments brought him joy and reflected the beauty he found in everyday life.

Mike is survived by his mother, Rose Best; his sister, Donna (Jack) Best Bradley; his brothers, Scott (Jackie) Best and Terrance Best; his daughter, Ammie (Tony) Ottinger; his son, Aaron Best; and his grandchildren, Brendan Best, Destiny Ottinger, Devin Best, and Taylor Ottinger.

Mike will be remembered for the simple joys he treasured and the memories he leaves behind with those who loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, who will forever hold him close.

A luncheon will follow at 1pm after the visitation.
