Michael
Abraham
Jun 21, 1978 — Sep 19, 2026
Michael “Mike” Scott Abraham Sr., of Portage, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was born June 21, 1978, to Francis Abraham III and Linda Abraham (Neidlinger).
Mike enjoyed the simple things in life and spending time with the people he loved most. One of his greatest passions was racing, especially working alongside his son, Mikey, on their 1987 Chevy Camaro drag car, “Black Betty.” When he wasn’t working on the Camaro, Mike could often be found watching circle-track or drag racing, enjoying a few beers, spending time with his family, or settling in for a day full of movies during one of his cherished “Relaxation Sundays.”
Above all, Mike loved his family. He held an especially tender place in his heart for his granddaughter, Makenna, and took great joy in being her Papa. He also had a special love for his dogs, Daizy May, Molly Ann, and Bella Rae. Daizy recently preceded him in death, and the bond they shared held a special place in Mike’s heart.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Abraham, in December 2018.
He is survived by his father, Francis Abraham III; his children, Jessica (Larry) Willavize and Michael “Mikey”Abraham Jr. (Ella West); his beloved granddaughter, Makenna Willavize; his former spouse and lifelong friend, Erin Libbrecht; and his siblings, Lori Dinse Abraham (Mike Eagle), Frank Abraham IV (Denise), and Mitchell Kime (Stacy), along with many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Mike’s unexpected passing leaves an immeasurable absence in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the family he cherished, the friendships he formed, the laughter he shared, and the countless moments that made him uniquely Mike. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
Mike’s family will gather privately to celebrate his life, honor his memory, and share the stories and love that will keep him close in the days ahead.
