She was the proud owner of her own knit shop, where her passion for knitting and crocheting flourished, bringing warmth and comfort to many. Her talent and creativity extended beyond her craft; Marion was an exceptional cook, renowned for her culinary delights that gathered family and friends around her table, creating bonds that would last a lifetime.

A lover of literature, Marion devoted hours to the world of books, often revisiting her favorites with enthusiasm. Her voracious reading habit kept her well-informed and entertained, as she sought adventure not only within the pages but also in her travels alongside her beloved husband, Richard Amsbaugh, who precedes her in death. Together, they explored the world, creating memories that fueled her adventurous spirit. She is lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whose lives have been deeply touched by her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love. Marion also leaves behind cherished memories of her late husband and her late children, Richard Amsbaugh and Karen Wheat, alongside her dear parents, Gilbert and Anne Karr, who welcomed her into this world.
