Lois Persful

Lois Persful, born on August 8, 1931, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at the age of 93, just a day shy of her 94th Birthday. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy of creativity, kindness, and love for her family.

Throughout her life, Lois cultivated her passion for sewing, a vocation that became a significant part of her identity. Working from home as a seamstress allowed her to balance her duties as a mother while engaging her artistic spirit. Lois had a remarkable ability to create everything from everyday clothing to exquisite gowns, and her talent was admired by all who knew her. With her husband Warren Persful encouraging her to remain at home with their children, she found a fulfilling way to keep her mind and creativity alive.

A treasured memory from her childhood includes riding motorcycles with her family, particularly enjoying adventures with her uncles on her father's side. These shared experiences created a bond that Lois cherished and often reminisced about throughout her life. She had a love for shopping and exploring, always eager to discover new treasures and experiences.

Lois is remembered for her kind and generous nature, as well as her vibrant and creative spirit. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around the balance she achieved between being a devoted family member and pursuing her passions. She was fiercely dedicated to her children, Valerie Burns (Jim), Criscilla Craig (Dwight), John Persful, and Keith Persful, who will carry her memory forward.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Warren, her parents John and Ursula Gustafson, her son Brian Persful, and her siblings Ella Ray, Marilynn, and John. While Lois is mourned deeply, her family finds comfort in the countless memories and the enduring legacy of love she created.
