Leah J. Storch, 86, of Allegan, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, in Allegan. She was born on July 4, 1940, in Allegan, Michigan.

Leah will be remembered as a generous, hard-working, and good-hearted woman who loved people and was always willing to help anyone. She was also well known for her sense of humor, a gift that brought warmth and light to those around her. Family was at the center of her life, and she had a deep love and appreciation for cooking and preparing meals for others. She enjoyed cooking, loved animals, and found happiness in growing flowers and plants.

During her working years, Leah held several different jobs. Her final employment was with Ely Manor Nursing Home, where she worked in the housekeeping department for several years before retiring. She approached her work with the same steady dedication and care that shaped the rest of her life.

Above all, Leah was family oriented, and her love for those closest to her was constant and deeply felt. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Storch, and by her sons, Kelly Coffey, Steve Coffey, and John Coffey;  her sisters, Kathy Olsen and Sally Lancaster; brother, Roy D. Ellis Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Each of them carries forward the memory of her kindness, humor, and the many ways she showed her love through everyday acts of care.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Ellis, and by her father, Roy D. Ellis Sr.

Leah’s life was marked by generosity, laughter, and devotion to others. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
