Laura Chambers, 63, of Sturgis, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, in the loving care of her daughter’s home. Born on February 18, 1962, Laura lived a vibrant life filled with sass, sarcasm, and an infectious sense of fun that made her unforgettable to all who knew her.

Laura was a beloved figure, often described as “everyone’s favorite.” Her quick wit, charming personality, and warm heart left a lasting mark on her family, friends, and community. She found joy in the beauty of nature, cherished moments of peace, and loved sharing stories from her rich and colorful life. Laura had a passion for yard saling, delighting in the thrill of discovering treasures and connecting with others over shared finds. She also poured her love into nurturing her indoor and outdoor plants, creating vibrant spaces that reflected her care and creativity. Among her favorite joys were hummingbirds, which captivated her with their grace and spirit.

Laura shared a deep bond with her long-term companion and best friend, Mark Trivett, with whom she lived and loved as if they were partners in every sense. Mark preceded her in death, and Laura is now waiting to reunite with him in heaven. Her absence will be deeply felt by the many lives she touched, but her spirit will live on in the countless memories of those who knew and loved her.

Per Laura’s wishes, there will be no formal celebration of her life. She has been cremated, and her ashes will be lovingly placed in a beautiful hummingbird necklace, a tribute to one of her favorite birds, and a glass hourglass, symbolizing the timeless love she shared with those around her.

Laura’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her spunk, her stories, and her love.
