Larry Curtis White, born on September 22, 1958, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in the same city, surrounded by the love of his family. He was a man who embodied a spirit of adventure and positivity, known for his infectious humor, boundless kindness, and a heart that was as expansive as his interests.
Larry's laughter could light up any room, and his outgoing nature drew people to him effortlessly. He had an adventurous spirit and found joy in the great outdoors, particularly through his passions for fishing and camping. Music was another significant part of his life, bringing him great comfort and joy.
A devoted member of Renewed Life Church in Oakley, California, Larry held a strong faith in God that guided him throughout his life. His belief and values were evident in his interactions with others, as he consistently exhibited compassion and genuine care.
He is survived by his daughter, Sierah White; his brother, Steven (Martha) White; and his cherished nieces and nephews: Shelly Nutter, Lonnie Glenn, Steven White, Tracy Cross, and Sarah Miller. Additionally, he was a proud uncle to twelve great nieces and nephews who brought him immense joy and pride.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Larry and Charlotte (Tarnow) White; two siblings, Lynn White Glenn and Rodney White; and his nephew, Marcus White. Their memories will forever remain a cherished part of his legacy.
As we remember Larry White, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, adventure, and an unwavering love for family and friends. His spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the privilege of knowing him.
