Kerry Colleen Craighead
January 25, 1963 – July 16, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kerry, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She passed away at home on Thursday, July 16, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Kerry was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear friend. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She created countless memories through everyday acts of love—sharing meals, telling bedtime stories, and going on adventures with her husband, her children, and then her grandchildren. She had a special way of making each person feel loved.

Kerry found joy in the simple things, from watching the birds outside her window to loving her grand-dogs as if they were part of the family. One of her favorite phrases, "mad as Milo," brought smiles and laughter to those around her.

Kerry had a kind heart, a generous spirit, and a warmth that welcomed others. Her home was a place where family gathered, laughter was shared, and lasting memories were made.

Kerry dedicated many years to serving others through her work. She proudly ran a printing press at the Paw Paw Courthouse, worked in food service at the school her children attended, and finished her career at Western Michigan University, where she worked in landscaping during the summer and food service throughout the school year. Whether at work or at home, she found joy in caring for others.

In recent years, Kerry faced the challenges of dementia with courage. Though the disease changed so much, it never erased the love she had poured into her family over a lifetime. Those who loved her will choose to remember the woman who laughed easily, loved deeply, welcomed generously, and made everyone around her feel like they belonged.

Kerry leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and strive to honor her by loving one another as fiercely as she loved them.

Kerry was preceded in death by her father, Robert Reynolds. Surviving are her mother, Jeanette Reynolds; her husband of nearly thirty-five years, David Craighead; her children, David (Victoria) Craighead II, Dalton Craighead, and Travis Craighead; her three grandchildren, Marcus, Zackary, and Kaitlyn Craighead; and her three brothers, Paul Reynolds (Sarah), Brian Reynolds (Lisa), and Darrell (Veronica) Reynolds.

Though she is no longer with us, her stories, traditions, recipes, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the family's home in Lawton, Michigan. Join us as we share a meal and remember an amazing woman who loved to make memories with her family and friends.
