Kenny A. Reed passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born on March 4, 1959, in Auburn, Indiana, and grew up in Leo, Indiana.

Kenny attended Leo High School. Kenny married Joan Youngs on July 31, 1992 in Coldwater, MI and enjoyed 34 years of marriage. He enjoyed fixing and working on old cars, had a special interest in tractors, and spent many happy hours tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife, Joan. Driving truck was an important part of his working life, and he did that work for 15 years.

Above all, Kenny will be remembered by those who knew him for the life he shared with his family and for the simple pleasures that brought him joy. Whether he was working with his hands, spending time in the garage, or heading out on the road or on a trip with Joan, he lived in a way that reflected dedication, steadiness, and appreciation for the things he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Reed; his brothers, Richard Reed, Ronald Reed and his wife, Dawn, and James Reed and his wife, Dawn; his sisters, Carol Brandt and her husband, Tom, and Elaine Fore and her husband, Wayne. He will also be remembered with love by the many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Reed; his mother, Helen Reed; and his sister, Ellen Reed.

Visitation will be held on September 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Crossroads Bible Church, 1144 Dunks Rd, Sherwood, Michigan 49089. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Crossroads Bible Church or directly to the family.
