IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jennifer Marie
Zabawski
July 2, 1985 – February 19, 2026
Jennifer Marie Zabawski, born on July 2, 1985, in Howell, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home in Paw Paw, Michigan, on February 19, 2026. Jennifer fought a courageous battle against cancer, always maintaining her strong spirit and determination. She is remembered for her compelling personality, characterized by her strength, directness, and unwavering resolve.
For the past five years, Jennifer worked with dedication at UPS as a pre-loader and delivery driver, a role that brought her immense satisfaction and joy. Her commitment to her work mirrored her approach to life—she faced challenges head-on and thrived in her responsibilities.
Jennifer derived great pleasure from spending time with her family, especially her son and the light of her life, Eric Richard Fitchpatrick III. He was not only her pride but also the driving force that kept her going through the toughest of times. She cherished every moment spent with him, and their bond was a testament to her love and devotion as a mother.
In addition to her family, Jennifer enjoyed recreational activities, notably bowling, which allowed her to connect with friends and family in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Jennifer leaves behind her devoted mother, Kathleen Zabawski, and her father, Edward Zabawski. She is also remembered fondly by several aunts, uncles, and cousins who shared in her life journey.
She is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Bernadine Soper, her aunt, Patricia Powers, and four uncles, Bob Powers, Eddie Powers, Joseph Zabawski and Timothy Zabawski Nelson. Their memories remain a cherished part of her legacy.
As we remember Jennifer Marie Zabawski, we celebrate her life—a life marked by love, resilience, and an indomitable spirit. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know her. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date at the Paw Paw Eagles.
