Gregory Michael Paul Christian, age 33, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, originally hailing from Gretna, LA, passed away after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Gregg, as he was affectionately known, was a kind and gentle soul whose presence lit up every room. Born with a wild streak and a sharp sense of humor, he had an uncanny ability to turn even the heaviest moments into something lighthearted, offering laughter when it was needed most.

A true adventurer at heart, Gregg loved video games, fishing with his best friend, epic Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, and sharing the best (and worst) memes with those he loved. He had a gift for turning serious shows into comedies, purely through his commentary. His sense of humor was unmatched, and his ability to bring joy to others will be deeply missed.

Gregg is survived by his loving wife, Kaytie; his stepson, Thomas; his mother, Cathy Rome (Rich); his father, Christopher Christian (Alisha); his siblings Griffin, Alex, Tabby, and Chad; and his grandparents Gailen and Mike Christian. He also leaves behind his best friend Andrew, Andrew’s wife Hailey, and their daughter Penny, with whom he shared a special bond.

Gregg's life was full of deep connections, laughter, and love. He may have left us too soon, but he leaves behind memories that will continue to bring smiles and warmth to those who knew him.

In accordance with Gregg’s wishes, there will be no formal service. However, a remembrance meal will be held at a later date to celebrate his life. Details will be shared once they are finalized.
