Fritz William
Reynolds
Jul 11, 1956 — Jul 10, 2026
Fritz William Reynolds, age 69, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, just one day shy of his 70th birthday.
Born on July 11, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to William "Bill" and Anneliese "Ann" Reynolds, Fritz was a lifelong resident of the Kalamazoo area. He graduated from Parchment High School, where he excelled in baseball, basketball, and football. His love for sports, competition, and the outdoors remained a constant throughout his life.
An avid outdoorsman, Fritz enjoyed hunting, fishing, water skiing, and spending time wherever adventure called. He had a lifelong passion for anything with a motor. As a young man, he raced motocross and mud bogging before discovering his love for drag racing at Martin Dragway. Racing was more than a hobby—it was a passion that he proudly shared with grandson, AJ.
One of Fritz's favorite memories was riding his Harley-Davidson with friends to Sturgis, South Dakota, for Bike Week in 1990, a trip he spoke of often. He also enjoyed traveling, making many memorable trips to Las Vegas, Mexico, and throughout the Caribbean with his longtime friend, Karen Walker.
Fritz began his career as an electrician before transitioning into plumbing. He eventually took over Reynolds (Main Street) Plumbing Service from his father, proudly carrying on the family business until his retirement. He was respected for his strong work ethic, skilled craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Throughout his life, Fritz always had the loyal companionship of a dog by his side. From faithful hunting dogs to "spoiled lap dogs", each held a special place in his heart and brought him endless joy.
Fritz is survived by his daughter, Anneliese White (Reynolds); his son, Matthew Reynolds; his sister, Twanette Bronson (Reynolds); his granddaughter, Jordan White; and his grandson, AJ White, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" and Anneliese "Ann" Reynolds; his beloved uncle, Dick McBain; and many cherished family members and lifelong friends.
Fritz will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of family, his appreciation for fast cars, motorcycles, and the outdoors, and the many memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through the stories shared, the traditions he passed down, and the family and friends who will forever carry him in their hearts.
In accordance with Fritz’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A small, intimate ceremony for the scattering of his ashes and a memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Those wishing to pay their respects or receive additional information are invited to contact his daughter, Anneliese.
