Dustin D. Pate, a son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 30, 2026, in his hometown of South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 34. Born on October 17, 1991, Dustin was a cherished member of his family, known for his helpful and loving nature. He thrived on being needed and found joy in the connections he made with those around him.

Dustin's passion for cars was a defining aspect of his personality. However, it was his dedication to his family that truly stood out. Whether hanging out with his loved ones or lending a helping hand, Dustin's warmth and affection fostered lasting bonds.

He is survived by his father, Charles Flora III; his stepfather, Tony Bloss; and his stepmother, Misty Hopper. Dustin was a proud brother to four sisters: Katie Bloss, Bambi Bloss, Christie Bloss, and Kalena Arnold; and one brother, Levi Bloss. He leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry his memory in their hearts.

Dustin's passing is felt deeply by all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his kind spirit and love for his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna (Pate) Flora, whose memory he carries in the legacy of love he leaves behind.
