Their daughter, Heidi Jill Kovacs was born June 25, 1966. Diane married Lawrence Loikits on April 15, 1988, and he preceded her in death in November of 2011.

To the marriage of Nicole and Ryan, she has two great-grandsons, Kade and Tripp. To the marriage of Kelly and David, she has two great-grandsons, Dallas and Dusty. On November 3, 1993, her daughter Heidi passed away. Others that preceded Diane in death were two brothers Monte and Randy Martin.
Diane wrote, "The greatest blessings of my life were, Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, being Heidi's mother and Lawrence's wife, having been a grandmother to Nikki and Kelly, and having been a great-grandmother to Kade, Tripp, Dallas and Dusty. I want to leave the readers of this obituary a blessing. A chance to accept Jesus as your savior and know that Jesus Christ saves us from sin. I pray the Lord will open your eyes and heart to truth as you read the Bible. Have the courage to stand up for Jesus that was born of the virgin Mary, that died on the cross, was buried and rose from his grave. He is now sitting on the right of God, he is God in the flesh. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to the good life he wants for you. Secure your place in heaven. Please don't get the idea that I think I am even close to being perfect in the Lord for writing this. I am not nor are you or anyone. However as a Christian, in the Bible I am commanded to spread the Gospel. This country was founded on Christian principles and is the reason this country was so blessed. God Bless you all with Christ's love. Now, you need to accept it if you have not already."
Private graveside services will be held and Diane will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Lawrence.
