Debra Streb, 73, a long-time resident of Marshall, MI passed away at home on August 20, 2026. Debbie was born in Barre, VT to Max and Joan (Tidey) Allaire.

Debbie worked as a CNA and was self-employed. She was passionate about animals, plants, and geology, especially rocks. Stray animals seemed to flock to her.

She is survived by three siblings and their families: Jeff (Laurie Szymusiak) Streb, Susie (Ken Holleman) Streb, and Sandy Streb; nephew Chris Spencer (Lisa Spencer); and great-nephew Colin Spencer.

Debbie was proceeded in death by her parents; mother Joan Streb, father’s Max Allaire and Duane Streb, and sibling Cheryl Fry.

The family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to Diane Allen for assisting with Debbie’s care.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to your local animal rescue to honor Debbie’s love for animals, or planting a tree in her name to celebrate her love of nature.

According to her request, there will be no services held at this time. A private memorial service will occur at a later date.
