Daniel L. Kendrick, a beloved son, devoted father, and cherished brother and  friend, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2025, in Traverse City, Michigan. Born on July 12, 1977, in Wayne, Michigan, Daniel lived a life that was truly larger than life itself. His vibrant personality, characterized by his energy, humor, and willingness to help others, left a profound impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Daniel dedicated over 20 years of his career to Delta Airlines before retiring and beginning his work at Garland Golf Resort, where he continued to exemplify the hard-working nature he was known for. He was a man who could make those around him laugh with his goofy demeanor, and his unique charm touched countless lives.

In his personal life, Daniel found joy and connection in his hobbies, which included thrifting and antiquing. He was also an dedicated sports fan, passionately following Lions Football and U of M Sports, bringing spirited enthusiasm to every game.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Kendrick. Surviving are his mother, Heather Kendrick; his daughter, Morgan Kendrick; and his three siblings, Scott (Catherine) Kendrick, Michelle (Chad) Gaines, and Katy (Erik) Shpakoff. He is also survived by six adored nieces and nephews: Kylie Gaines, Dylan Gaines, Emily Shpakoff, Ally Gaines, Andrew Shpakoff, and Luke Kendrick, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

In honor of Daniel's remarkable life, a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Metro City Church - Taylor Campus 21080 Penn Street Taylor, Michigan 48180. The service will begin at 3:00 PM. This gathering will serve as a heartfelt tribute to a truly one-of-a-kind individual who brought joy and laughter into the lives of so many. Daniel's legacy will undoubtedly live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
