Daniel Lee Faucett, age 62, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2025, in Kalamazoo, MI. Born on September 18, 1963 in Douglas, MI where remained a life long resident of the Holland and Fennville area. Daniel led a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.
For many years, Daniel dedicated his career to being an over-the-road truck driver, a role that allowed him to embrace his love of traveling and seeing the open road. His time in this profession not only showcased his impressive work ethic but also brought him immense joy as he explored new places. Daniel's personality left a lasting impression on those around him; he was known for his great sense of humor, particularly when sharing moments with his brothers and sisters, where laughter was abundant.
Daniel had a variety of interests that filled his life with meaning. He enjoyed fishing and found satisfaction in working on small engines. In his leisure time, Daniel liked to unwind by watching car shows on YouTube, indulging in his passion for automobiles and listening to music, especially classic rock. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends, making memories that would last a lifetime.
Daniel leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Heather (Grabis) Faucett; his five children, Robert Hunter, Nick Faucett, Chelsey Grabis, Ashlynn Faucett, and Gabrielle Faucett, each of whom holds dear the values and love instilled by their father. His legacy also continues through his six grandchildren, who will remember him fondly.
He is also survived by his mother, Margaret Owen, as well as his siblings: Susie Hinojosa, Leon Faucett, Margaret Miller, Dale Valentine, Hope Villicana, David Valentine, and Crystal Owen. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Faucett, and his siblings Billy Faucett, Glen Faucett, and Brenda Davis.
Daniel Lee Faucett will be remembered as a loving family man, whose laughter and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a profound legacy of love and joy that will resonate for generations to come.
