And so, there it was.

It had taken him most of the years of his life,

but Gustav had finally managed to gather up every last one of his marbles and now he could.

Once and for all,

cast those damn things into the sea.

Craig Alan Crowe, 72, of Grand Ledge, passed away on Sunday March 8th, 2026. Craig was home with his loving daughters and son-in-law at the time of his passing.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents Duane Robert Crowe and Patricia Ann Crowe (Stout). Craig is survived by his daughters Sarah Whitney (Don), and Carrie Crowe. He will also be missed by his siblings Doug Crowe, Sherri Doyle, Jeff Crowe and Lisa Carne.

Craig was an avid golfer who also had a love for antiquing, helping out at the Grand Ledge Summer track program (10 years) and spending time with family. Many who speak of Craig would say that he was goofy, charismatic, and a loving father with a calm supportive presence. He was very proud of his 40 years of service as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and made many dear friends over the years. He could often be found listening to good music while practicing his golf swing and putting dents in the ceiling. Craig will be missed more than words can express.

It was Craig’s wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held in his honor, on April 19th from 1:00pm-4:00pm in the Capital room at the Comfort Inn Lansing West; 525 N Canal Rd. Lansing, MI 48917.
