Christine Emily Bouthiette

Christine Bouthiette went to be with the lord on June 18th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 67. 

Christine was born to Caroline and Oliver Nelson and grew up in her beloved family home in Vermontville, Mi. She moved to California in adulthood, where she met the love of her life, Henry. They made the trip across the country and settled in their home in Hastings Mi. They celebrated 34 years of marriage on June 15th, 2025. Christine worked in the food and beverage industry and was known for being an avid gardener and beloved grandmother. She enjoyed many things, some of which included power walking, watching the Detroit lions (they never did win that Superbowl), music, and above all, spending time with family. 

Christine is survived by her husband Henry, her 4 children, Angela, Robert, Tyson, and Michael. Godson Josey(Amy), Grandchildren Tyler (Samantha), Lexi, Casey (Shane), Kaleb, Devyn, Jazmine, Christian, Michael Jr, Jake, and many great grandchildren. 

Christine is preceded in death by her mother and father, Caroline and Oliver Nelson, Brother Earl Nelson, nephew Jeremy Misener, and her grandson Lucas Vanvolkinburg

 A celebration of life will be held on June 28th from 1pm-5pm, at The Legacy Golf Course in Hastings, MI. The family wishes to thank the staff of Corewell Health Pennock for many years of care and hospice at Corewell Health Blodgett.
