Cheryl Susan Tardiff, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 17, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories, and a legacy that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Cheryl was a loving, devoted, and selfless woman who lived life on her own terms while always finding ways to help others along the way. She had a heart for people and a willingness to give of herself, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her life was a reflection of her strength, independence, compassion, and the love she carried for those around her.

For many years, Cheryl worked as a dental assistant before dedicating herself to helping the elderly. Her compassion and desire to make a difference in the lives of others were evident throughout her working years. No matter where life took her, caring for others and living for the lord remained an important part of who she was. Above all else, Cheryl's greatest loves were Jesus and her family. She was baptized on December 24, 1979, and her faith held a special place in her life. She treasured the time she spent with her loved ones and made it a priority to bring her family together, especially during the holidays. To Cheryl, these moments together were more than traditions; they were opportunities to create memories, strengthen family bonds, and remind everyone of the importance of being there for one another.

She also found joy in the simple things in life, including a good cup of coffee and watching her favorite true crime shows. These little things were part of what made Cheryl uniquely herself and will bring smiles to the faces of those who remember her. Cheryl was also a passionate advocate for epilepsy awareness, a cause that held great importance to her. Her commitment to raising awareness reflected her desire to make a difference beyond her own family and to help others in meaningful ways.

Cheryl leaves behind her beloved children, Henry Gendron and Ashley Gendron, and her cherished grandchildren, Cassandra Gendron, Preston Roe, and Rylin Thomas, who will carry her love and memory with them throughout their lives. She is also survived by her mother, Sherry Broadwell; and her siblings, Joseph, Jerry, Sheila, Melissa, and Janeane, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who love her, Cheryl's story does not end here. She lives on in the lessons she taught, the kindness she shared, the family she held so close, and the countless memories that will be treasured for generations to come. Her love will remain present at family gatherings, during holiday traditions, over cups of coffee, and in the everyday moments when those who knew her are reminded of her. Cheryl will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May her family find comfort in their memories, strength in one another, and peace in the faith she held dear. Though she is no longer here in person, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in all those she leaves behind. She is proceeded in death by her husband Kevin, her father Bob, and sister barb.

“I’m tired now I need to rest, my good, gracious and merciful god has finally called me home.” -Cheryl Tardiff
