Charles Davisson

Charles “Chuck” W. Davisson passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, in Berrien Springs, Michigan at the age of 82. He was born in Barberton, Ohio, on March 1, 1943. 

Chuck worked for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for almost 40 years, first as a Literature Evangelist then as a Conference Publishing Director then as a Church Pastor before retiring in 2008. Chuck's personal joys were fishing, camping, singing, playing guitar, playing golf with his grandsons, playing Euchre and studying the Bible with others. 

He is survived by his children, Dave (Elizabeth) Davisson and Chris (Claudia) Davisson, his grandchildren, Richard (Keiko) Davisson, Brian (Kelsey) Davisson, Joaquin (Khira) Silos and Regina Silos, his great-grandchildren, Joaquin Silos, Henry Silos and Natalie Silos and his sister Wanda Gerber.

Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Davisson; his son, Richard Davisson, his parents, Oren and Mildred Davisson and his siblings, Eugene Davisson and Patty Waters. As we celebrate the life of Charles Davisson, let us remember a man who loved the Lord, his family, his friends and was kind to others.
