Carol Annette Beard-Thompson, born on January 21, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Greenville, Michigan. Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
She is survived by her three devoted daughters — Ronisha, Rolanda, and Cassia — who carry forward her legacy of love and compassion. Carol was also cherished by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews who held her dear to their hearts. Carol will also be deeply missed by her brotherhood of friends who became her family among Jehovah’s Witnesses — a community that uplifted and embraced her with unwavering love.
Carol will be fondly remembered for the joy, laughter, and light she brought to everyone she encountered. She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, and her beloved son, Rosevelt.
Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
