It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Clare Letts, a remarkable soul whose light shone brightly in the lives of all who knew him. Born on August 11, 1960, Albert departed this world on May 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of joy, adventure, and kindness.
Al was known for his infectious spirit and his ability to find fun in every moment. He loved people, always making sure that family events and trips were filled with laughter and a sense of unity—often insisting that everyone wear matching shirts, creating a cherished tradition that symbolized their bond. His devotion to family and community was evident in everything he did. Whether it was volunteering for local events or simply lending an ear to anyone in need, Al's generosity knew no bounds.
An adventurous traveler, Al loved exploring new places and shared countless memorable journeys with his family. He cherished every opportunity to create lasting memories, enjoying the great outdoors through activities like camping and fishing. Aside from his love for adventure, he had an appreciation for movies and music, as well as a deep passion for sports, which allowed him to connect with those around him, fostering friendships that would last a lifetime.
Al leaves behind a loving family who will carry his spirit with them always. His devoted wife, Elizabeth Lee (Lisa) Letts, stands as a pillar of strength in this time of sorrow, alongside their beloved children: Jesse William Letts, Casey Allen Letts as well as Alexander Damon, Alida Lee, Aidan Daniel, Austin David, Alaina Claire and Anderson Dane Letts. He was a proud grandfather to Sebastian, whose bright smile brought even more joy to Al's life. He is also survived by his brother, Dan Letts (Sofia) and his sister, Triena Letts. The memories they shared will be treasured forever, especially through the eyes of Maggie Locke (Mike), his niece, who carries the spirit of her uncle in her heart. His love also touched the hearts of his family by marriage: Patricia Latunski, his mother-in-law; Eric Gafner, his brother-in-law; and Tina and Keith Jackson, his wife's aunt and uncle, as well as countless other aunts, uncles and cousins by marriage. Al also will be remembered by countless former co-workers and teammates, friends, neighbors and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Al was preceded in death by his two beloved sisters, Shirley Letts and Penny Letts, as well as his parents and father-in-law Bill Latunski. Their memories intertwined with Al's spirit, create a beautiful tapestry of family heritage that will endure through the years.
While Al may have left this earthly realm, his adventurous spirit, kindness, and love for life will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him. His legacy will live on in every joyful gathering, every family trip, and every cherished moment spent with loved ones—an everlasting reminder that life is truly an adventure worth sharing.
